Flat spray nozzles are hydraulic spray nozzles that spray liquid in an inverted V shape (like a folding fan that has been opened and turned upside down) from their orifices. The fog sprayed from the orifices has a shallow depth and a wide horizontal spray pattern. They can be used for cleaning a wide area, with multiple overlapping nozzles, or for slicing/scraping the surface of an object.
