Solid stream jet nozzles are hydraulic spray nozzles that shoot liquid in a straight line from their orifices. In contrast to many other nozzles, the liquid sprayed from the nozzle orifices is not atomized, so it can be targeted with pinpoint accuracy. As a result, the nozzles can be used for localized cleaning of narrow areas, for paper trimming in paper mills, and for various other purposes.
